Venango Woods Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in Seneca, PA. Venango Woods began as a small Bible study in 1999, and currently has an average attendance of 70+ on Sunday mornings. Our purpose statement is: Venango Woods exists to REACH people, CONNECT them into God's family, help them GROW in their faith and DISCOVER their ministry, and show them how to HONOR God with their lives.

Our contemporary worship services are held on Sunday mornings, accompanied by a mid-week service that includes worship, teaching and prayer. Small groups are held throughout the week. Venango Woods Church has ministries for all ages. We have tremendous potential for growth, and great facilities, with numerous classrooms, playground equipment, and a ball field.

Venango County is rich with history and opportunities for ministry. This area claims the proud heritage of being the home of the first ever oil well and the “Valley that changed the world.” The population of Venango County is around 56,000 in our 675 square mile area, of those around 29,000, claim to have no religious affiliation.

We are host to several Community attractions and tourist attractions including our annual Oil Heritage Festival and the Apple Festival that provide our church great opportunities for outreach and evangelism. Although our area is economically behind many other communities in population and business growth, the area is well know as a great place to live and raise a family. The salary is $20,000

Due to the current financial position of the church we can only offer a limited salary at this time. We recognize that this salary may not be enough to meet the needs of everyone and expect to call a pastor who may need to work bi-vocationally to support his family.
