What Time Is It?

by Wayne Rice

A guy is walking down the street and stops a man to ask for the time. The man, looking at his watch, helpfully responds, "Why, certainly! The time is now four o'clock."

The guy scratches his head and says, "You know, it's really weird. I've been asking people that question all day long, and each time I get a different answer!"

Seriously ...

If you were to ask several people to describe God, you would get several different answers. But that doesn't mean that somebody's lying.

That's because every person sees God and experiences God a little differently. Time may change, but God always remains the same. Just like the steady passing of time, God is absolutely dependable and trustworthy.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17)
